You have to color your own world
if no one else does it for you
so...paint your house, your street
plant that little color seed...
And this even matters more:
Color all your surroundings,
your fences, bars and highest walls
your drooping curtains
closed doors, blinds and veils...
let those colors grow so deep,
to the warmest red or green,
choose and paint and now look at you!
And this I really, really mean:
I'm glad you're finally colored too!
